Rockland Internship Program

About Rockland Internships

Rockland Immunochemicals, Inc. offers an internship program designed for outstanding university students aspiring to careers in biotechnology and related business fields. This program fosters the development of future scientists and professionals by providing hands-on, project-based training within an industrial laboratory setting.

The interns are assigned by the internship coordinator to a mentor and a specific department, based on the applicant’s skills and knowledge. All interns will learn project and time management and will work with a team. The individual may assist in inventory management, product manufacturing, development and implementation of biological manufacturing processes, scale-up procedures, and testing methods relevant to the production of monoclonal antibodies and other biologics. At the end of the program, each intern will present to all mentors a PowerPoint of what they learned and how it is significant in their field of study.
