TMB (3,3',5,5'-Tetramethylbenzidine) is a colorimetric substrate for peroxidase (HRP)-based enzyme immunoassays, notably ELISAs, and is known for producing a blue color that changes to yellow upon stopping the reaction with sulfuric acid.
