Target Details
Rat
Rat IgA alpha heavy chain
Anti-Rat IgA was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Rat IgA coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum, Rat IgA and Rat Serum. No reaction was observed against Rat IgM or Rat IgG. Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1% cross reactivity against other Rat heavy or light chain isotypes.
Application Details
Anti-Rat IgA antibody is suitable for Elisa, Western Blots and Immunohistochemistry. Antibody should be optimized by the end user for specific conditions of reactivity.
