IgG
Target Details
Mouse
Mouse IgG3 heavy chain
Anti-MOUSE IgG3 (Gamma 3 chain) Antibody was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Mouse IgG3 coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Rabbit Serum, Mouse Serum, Mouse IgG and Mouse IgG3. Specificity was confirmed by ELISA. For IgG1, IgG2a and IgG2b reactivity was less than 5% against target (IgG3, IgG).
Application Details
Dot Blot, ELISA
Anti-Mouse IgG3 antibody has been tested by ELISA and dot blot and is suitable for ELISA, western blot, and immunohistochemistry, as well as other assays requiring lot-to-lot consistency.

Anti-Mouse IgG3 Antibody generated in rabbit detects reactivity to Mouse IgG3 (Gamma 3 chain). Secreted as part of the adaptive immune response by plasma B cells, immunoglobulin G constitutes 75% of serum immunoglobulins. IgG3 comprises almost 10% of the IgG subclass and has a high affinity for binding to the Fc receptor of phagocytic cells. Secondary Antibodies are available in a variety of formats and conjugate types. When choosing a secondary antibody product, consideration must be given to species and immunoglobulin specificity, conjugate type, fragment and chain specificity, level of cross-reactivity, and host-species source and fragment composition.
