Conjugated Peptide
Anti-WDR92 antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a 21 amino acid synthetic peptide near the internal region of human WDR92.
Anti-WDR92 Antibody was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography. Cross reactivity with WDR92 from other sources has not been determined.

Anti-WDR92 Antibody has been tested for use in ELISA, Western Blotting, Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band at approximately 40 kDa in Western Blots of specific cell lysates and tissues.

Store vial at -20° C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
Expiration date is one (1) year from date of receipt.
WD40 repeats are a common structural module in eukaryotic proteins, and proteins containing WD40 domains have a wide range of functions, including signal transduction, cell cycle regulation, RNA splicing, and transcription. One such protein, WDR92, also known as monad, contains two WD40 repeats is widely expressed in human tissues, especially testis. Overexpression of this protein or its binding partner RNA polymerase II-associated protein 3 (RPAP3) potentiated apoptosis and caspase-3 activation induced by TNF-a and cycloheximide, suggesting that WDR92, together with RPAP3, may function as a novel modulator of apoptosis.
