SH3GL1 Antibody was produced in mice by repeated immunizations raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to the near c-terminal region of rat SH3GL1.
Anti-SH3GL1 Antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with SH3GL1 from Mouse, human, and rat based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross-reactivity with SH3GL1 from other sources has not been determined. Scaffolds research.

Anti-SH3GL1 Antibody is suitable for use in WB, IHC and IP. Expect a band approximately ~43kDa on specific lysates. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.

Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.

Endophilin-A2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SH3GL1 gene. Endophilin-A2 is an SH3 domain containing protein that is involved in the clathrin-mediated endocytosis and recycling of synaptic vesicles. Its SH3 domain lies at the C-terminus of the protein, and can bind proline-rich sequences on other endocytotic proteins. It also binds the C-terminus of the voltage-gated calcium channel in a calcium-dependent manner, which serves to enrich the endocytotic machinery at nerve terminals.
