Conjugated Peptide
Anti-SDHAF1 antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with an 18 amino acid synthetic peptide near the C-terminus of human SDHAF1.
Anti-SDHAF1 Antibody was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography. SDHAF1 antibody is predicted to not cross-react with other SDHAF protein family members.
Application Details
ELISA, IF, IHC, WB
Anti-SDHAF1 Antibody has been tested for use in ELISA, Western Blotting, Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band at approximately 13 kDa in Western Blots of specific cell lysates and tissues.

SDHAF1 (Succinate dehydrogenase complex assembly factor 1) is one of the subunits of the succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) complex (or complex II) of the mitochondrial respiratory chain. SDHAF1 resides in the mitochondria, and is essential for SDH assembly, but does not physically associate with the complex in vivo. Mutations in this gene are associated with SDH-defective infantile leukoencephalopathy (mitochondrial complex II deficiency). Unlike the related protein SDHAF2, SDHAF1 is not thought to be a tumor suppressor.
