Conjugated Peptide
Anti-Retinoid X Receptor b-Isotype Monoclonal Antibody was produced in mouse by repeated immunizations with Retinoid X Receptor- Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acid residues from the reported hinge region.
Anti-Retinoid X Receptor beta antibody is directed against RXR-β. Retinoid X Receptor beta antibodies are Protein G purified from cell culture supernatant. This antibody is directed against mouse retinoid x receptor beta protein. Cross reactivity is expected against Rat. The cross reactivity to from other species has not been determined.
P28702 - UniProtKB

Application Details

WB
Anti-Retinoid X Receptor beta antibody has been tested by Western Blotting. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band of approximately 48 kDa in size corresponding to the RXR-β protein in the appropriate cell lysate or extract.

Retinoid X Receptor beta antibody detects RXR-β. The retinoid X receptors (RXRs) family (RXRα, β and γ), preferentially bind 9-cis-RA and regulate gene transcription by forming heterodimers with a second family of RA receptors. RAs have been suggested to potentially play a therapeutic role in cervical cancer. RAs are known to play key roles in neuronal development and an increasing body of evidence indicates that retinoid signaling may regulate synaptic plasticity and associated learning and memory behaviors. Anti-Retinoid X Receptor beta antibody is ideal for investigators involved in Cancer, Neuroscience, Signal Transduction research.
