Rat
Native Protein
Anti-Phosphatidylethanolamine binding protein Antibody was produced by repeated immunizations with purified native rat phosphatidylethanolamine binding protein.
Anti-Phosphatidylethanolamine binding protein antibody is directed against rat PEBP protein. The antibody was prepared from monospecific neat serum. The antibody has been directly tested for reactivity on rat tissues. Cross reactivity with PEBP from other species has not been determined.
P31044 - UniProtKB
Application Details
WB
Anti-Phosphatidylethanolamine binding protein Antibody has been tested in Western Blotting. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band of approximately 22 kDa in size corresponding to the PEBP in appropriate cell lysate or extract.
Formulation
Titrated value sufficient to run approximately 10 mini blots.

Phosphatidylethanolamine binding protein Antibody detects PEBP protein. Phosphatidylethanolamine binding protein (PEBP), also known as Raf kinase inhibitory protein (RKIP) is a highly conserved multifunctional protein that modulates the Raf/MAPK signaling cascade and has been implicated as a suppressor of metastatic cancer. PEBP has been shown to not only inhibit cell proliferation but also to induce differentiation of human keratinocytes. Dysregulation of calpain activity results in cellular degeneration in conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease and recently PEBP has been identified as a potential in vivo calpain substrate. Anti-Phosphatidylethanolamine binding protein Antibody is ideal for investigators involved in Neuroscience, Cell Signaling, and Cancer research.
