Anti-MTERFD3 antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with an 18 amino acid peptide near the N-terminus of human MTERFD3.
Anti-MTERFD3 Antibody was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography. MTERFD3 antibody is predicted to not cross-react with other MTERFD protein family members.

Anti-MTERFD3 Antibody has been tested for use in ELISA, Western Blotting, and Immunohistochemistry. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band at approximately 44 kDa in Western Blots of specific cell lysates and tissues.

Store vial at -20° C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
Expiration date is one (1) year from date of receipt.
Members of the mTERF (mitochondrial transcription termination factor) family, are mitochondrial proteins that are believed to be transcription termination factors. MTERFD3 was initially identified through differential display analysis and is expressed primarily in heart, liver, pancreas and skeletal muscle. MTERFD3 is believed to be involved in cell cycle regulation and cell growth by modulating mitochondrial transcription, and may be a serum-inhibitory factor.
