mouse anti-Mitochondria Antibody, Human cell marker antibody, xenographic model research antibodies, anti-mitochondria antibody produced in mouse
Mouse
Monoclonal
IgG1

Target Details

Human
Other
Anti-Mitochondria Monoclonal Antibody was produced by repeated immunizations with a human cell homogenate.
Anti-Mitochondria antibody is specific for human mitochondria in all cell types. The antibody is a protein A purification from concentrated clarified cell culture supernate. The antibody reacts specifically with human cells, including neurons and embryonic stem cells. The antibody does not cross react with mitochondria from mouse or rat.

Application Details

IF, IHC, WB
Anti-Mitochondria antibody is tested for use in Western Blotting, IHC and IF. Expect ~60kDa in WB. Anti-Anti-Mitochondria antibody works on acetone fixed and 2% paraformaldehyde fixed cells. The antibody also works for immunohistochemistry on 2% paraformaldehyde fixed cryostat sections. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.

Mitochondria antibody detects human Mitochondria. Mitochondria are most commonly known as the power plants of the cell as they produce ATP, but they are also involved in many other important cellular processes such as cell signaling, growth and differentiation. In addition, mitochondria have been shown to play a role in apoptosis. This antibody is an excellent marker for human cells in xenographic model research.
