Fab Anti-Biotin (GOAT) Antibody Alkaline Phosphatase Conjugated - 800-105-098
Goat Fab Anti-Biotin Antibody Alkaline Phosphatase Conjugation, Goat Fab Anti-Biotin HRP Conjugated Antibody
Goat
Alkaline Phosphatase (AP)
Polyclonal
IgG Fab
Target Details
Biotin
Other
Biotin conjugated to Keyhole Limpet Hemocyanin (KLH)
Fab Biotin antibody was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using biotin coupled to sepharose beads followed by papain digestion and chromatographic separation. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Alkaline Phosphatase, anti-Goat Serum. No reaction was observed against anti-papain or anti-Goat IgG F(c).
Application Details
ELISA
Fab Anti-Biotin Antibody Alkaline Phosphatase Conjugated has been tested by ELISA and is designed for immunofluorescence microscopy, fluorescence based plate assays (FLISA) and fluorescent western blotting. This product is also suitable for multiplex analysis, including multicolor imaging, utilizing various commercial platforms. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.

Fab Biotin antibody recognizes Biotin. Biotin, also known as vitamin H or coenzyme R, is a water-soluble B-vitamin (vitamin B7). It is composed of a ureido (tetrahydroimidizalone) ring fused with a tetrahydrothiophene ring. A valeric acid substituent is attached to one of the carbon atoms of the tetrahydrothiophene ring. Biotin is a coenzyme for carboxylase enzymes, involved in the synthesis of fatty acids, isoleucine, and valine, and in gluconeogenesis.
