Human, Mouse, Rat
Conjugated Peptide
Anti-BATF3 antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a 16 amino acid peptide near the N-terminus of human BATF3.
Anti-BATF3 antibody was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography. BATF3 antibody is human, mouse and rat reactive. BATF3 antibody is predicted to have no cross-reactivity to other BATF family members.

Application Details

ELISA, IF, IHC, WB
Anti-BATF3 Antibody has been tested for use in ELISA, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and Western Blotting. Expect a band at approximately 14 kDa in Western Blots using positive control HEK293 whole cell lysate or other specific cell lysates and tissues. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.

BATF3, also known as SNFT, belongs to the basic leucine zipper transcriptional family and functions as a transcriptional repressor when heterodimerizing with Jun (1) and can repress the transcription of IL-2 and MMP-1 (1,2). BATF3 is required for the development of CD8alpha+ classical dendritic cells (DCs) and the related CD103+ DCs that cross-present antigens to CD8 T cells (3,4).
